I've always liked Bill Bryson's writing, and "Bill Bryson Down Under" didn't disappoint. My grandma was Australian, but I didn't know anything about Australia apart from what I've learned by watching Home and Away. This book was full of interesting information and plenty of descriptions about the different areas. Bryson's sense of humor is great. There were several places in the book where I had to find my husband and share the witty remarks and funny stories; not something normally done.
