The thinking person's mystery. I did enjoy it, it was really well written. Unlike other mysteries I have read, I think the reader might be able to actually figure out by the clues, "whodunnit." Before reading P.D. James, I thought there was no point in trying to figure out who was guilty, or bother paying attention to the clues at all, since in the end it was always done by someone who was never mentioned in a situation that happens outside the story. Not the case in this book.
